Throwback Thursday

It is Thursday, and you may be wondering who invented Throwback Thursday in the first place. The answer is very surprising. With most of the internet platforms now participating in this game of nostalgia, people think the invention came from some sort of Internet wizard.

Would you be surprised to know that it was an hourly employee from a vehicle repair store? He could be clocking in and out using Time Clock Wizard right now as you read this.

Who Invented Throwback Thursday?

A young man by the name of Bobby Sanders invented “Throwback Thursdays”.  He did this for his own amusement to post older photos of himself and events he enjoyed. The idea spread as people did the same.

Pretty soon, the business community caught on and uses #throwbackthursdays to talk about updates to archived data.

TCW is doing Throwback Thursday posts now, too

In order to participate in #throwbackthursday posts, the blog authors of Time Clock Wizard will reach back through the archives and pull out an article. The article will be updated to show you how much TCW has grown as a company.

Time Clock Wizard is really picking up interest and we are very proud to say that we are getting up to 30,000 visitors per day. Thank you so much to our customers that have been there from the beginning.

If you are not a customer yet, and would like to try our service, you are invited to the free trial.

What will be Changing

We want to make sure that our customers are getting the most up-to-date information as possible. Sometimes you need to take a step back to take a couple of steps forward.

The look of the blog and other parts of the site are starting to change to be more usable for our clients. We have noticed that there is still a lot of engagement for our blog, and we want you to be able to make the most of it.

Plus, the nicer blog format will make it easier for you to show other people the elegance and power of Time Clock Wizard – still the most robust and valuable time clock app on the market today.

It is all a growing process.

What will not be Changing

The vast majority of the website is not going to change for our clients. In order to provide faster service, there have been some updates to the back end of the site that speeds up loading time. We do know that waiting for pages to load is frustrating.

We are keeping our 5 main categories:

  • Education
  • Employee Time Management
  • For Managers
  • Improvement
  • Modernization

Throwback Thursday is a Great Weekly Cross-Platform Event

Time Clock Wizard is going to take part in more Throwback Thrusday events in order for more people to see our terrific service. I really hope that you enjoy the posts on Thursdays for updated archived posts from the beginning.
